Miss City of Orange Contest Promises Talented Lineup
Seven women compete Saturday at Chapman University for Miss City of Orange. Contestants include Molly Casey of Chapman and Katie Wayland of UCLA Extension, each promoting causes from hunger relief to veterans support. The event at Verna Hall offers tickets at the door, a $2,000 college scholarship, and the Weedon title.

Rossini and Pitts lead Villa Park council race
Rossini 1395 votes and Pitts 1365 lead for the two open council seats in Villa Park after unofficial results. Ortega Lebsack win OUSD seats in election
Ortega will represent Area 2 on the Orange Unified School District board and Lebsack will be the Area 6 member. Ortega captured about 63 percent in Area 2 with the unofficial tally, while Lebsack won a three-way race. Measure S, a 288 million bond for district high school updates, passed with 60.8 percent.
