New Chapman grad crowned Miss California
Noelle Freeman, a Chapman University graduate, was crowned Miss California in Fresno after a 59-contestant pageant. Freeman, a Carlsbad native with a double major in communications and advertising public relations, earned a $10,000 scholarship and becomes an envoy of Miss America 2011, with Las Vegas as the national venue.
