Seed lending sprouts at Orange library initiative
Orange Home Grown Inc. and the Orange Public Library Foundation launch a seed lending library at the Orange Public Library and History Center opening March 19. Free seed packets, some non GMO and heirloom, come with about 10 seeds each. Users sign out seeds and may drop off harvested seeds later. education events on sowing and regional climate will be offered, with a seed display at the Saturday farmers market.
