Police report details vandalism and crashes in Glenwood
Last week police investigated vandalism and several traffic incidents. A July 8 hit and run caused under 250 dollars in damage near the pool. July 10 a prowler was found in Kevin Polk's basement, no theft. July 11 a Roy Hammer window was broken. July 12 a two child injury in a crash. Kathy Disterhaupt and James Disterhaupt minor head injuries in a collision with James Mayberry. Disterhaupt 1962 Chevy damaged 500, Mayberry 1973 Ford front 350. A 19 year old Greenwood man with minor head injuries after a one car accident July 12. Allen J. Farwell cited for failure to control after hitting a light pole near Linn and Green. Farwell's 1972 Ford damaged 900, left scene then stopped later.

Don Malcom wins two trophies at taber merchants picnic
Shenandoah driver Don Malcom claimed first in the 5,000 pound modified hot rod class and second in the 7,000 pound class at the Tabor Merchants Picnic Tractor Pull on July 6.
