Shootings Reported In Glenwood Vandalism Spree

A rash of BB gun vandalism was reported to Glenwood police, with windows shot out of a 1970 Chrysler owned by Roger Otto on Feb. 6 and a van passenger door at the school bus barn. A window at the Opinion-Tribune office and a window of a Rhoden Chevrolet truck near the Stag Shop were also damaged on Feb. 7. Dan Boone reported an eight track tape player and two speakers stolen from his car behind Gaylord's IGA.

Ice Caused Crash Injuring Two In Glenwood

Police reports show an ice related collision on February 10 in Glenwood injuring two people and causing about 800 in vehicle damage. Rudy M Rossmanith 46 Pacific Junction attempted to turn north on Chestnut Street from Green Street at 210 pm when his car slid on ice and struck Vern C Taul 53 Emerson. Rossmanith received possible arm injuries and Vernita M Taul Emerson suffered minor leg injuries. Damage was 400 to each vehicle.
