Busy 84 year old keeps active in East Liberty
Mrs Josie Stotts an 84 year old East Liberty correspondent for the Opinion Tribune lives alone on the eleven farmstead where she was raised. She stays busy with church work and community writing after outliving her family. She recalls an eightieth birthday open house with about a hundred guests and says she would have written a book if not for illness. She has poems published in anthologies and a son wrote a folio piece. She rejects the grouchy old lady stereotype and says she has much to be grateful for and loves to help people.
