O T McKay Dies at St Thomas Former Resident
O T McKay a Georgetown native and former store operator with his father in law later moved to St Thomas with his daughter Mrs Erle Allan. He was a golfer lawn bowler Mason and former Master of Credit Lodge 219 who died on Saturday October 16 after a lengthy illness. He leaves a daughter Margaret Allan and two sisters. Funeral services were held at McClure Funeral Home with a Masonic graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery.

Gardiner R. R. Succumbs After Long Illness
Robert Ross Gardiner died at his Maple Avenue home on Saturday October 6 after a lengthy illness. The Galt resident and former superintendent of P. W. Gardiner and Son, Ltd. lived in Canada’s west before moving to Galt. He was active in the Galt Horticultural Society and is survived by his wife Nellie Sherman. Pallbearers included four nephews from Toronto Galt and Orillia. Remains were taken to Toronto for cremation at St James Crematorium.
