On Monday May 10 19— council recommended immediate entry of North Halton High School District via by laws at a joint meeting. Reeve Armstrong supported an elected Board of Education while Gibbons and Lyons voted against along with Goodlet. The meeting also discussed water supply near Maple Avenue with E P F Roberts noting potential for a million gallons daily and a pump house, plus road resurfacing costs and debt financing.
