Euchre Raises Money for C P and T Fund
Twenty tables of euchre were in play last night at the Oddfellows Hall in a joint Rebekahs and Oddfellows fundraiser for a cancer poliomyelitis and tuberculosis fund. Miss Luena Campbell won the lucky ticket prize and led the card event with 99. Mrs Harry Savings 94 was runner up and other winners included Mrs Ken Davidson 89 Mrs R Prust 48 and W G Marshall 87. Tea and cookies were served after the game.

Strange Find On McKane Farm Weather Signal Maker
A weather observing device bearing the U S Army Signal Corps sign and parachute descended on the James McKane farm near Victoria. A hired man reported the find to Brampton Provincial Police.
