Walter Herbert Moore died in Peel Memorial Hospital Brampton on Friday March 17 aged 69. A Georgetown native he was telegraph operator at CNR station and later post office worker and acting postmaster. He is survived by his sister Miss Mabel Moore of Toronto. Funeral held Monday at McClure Funeral Home with interment in Hillcrest Cemetery Norval. Pallbearers listed from Toronto and Port Credit. Several out of town friends attended.

Four members of the B F Murfin Sheet Metal Works staff Frank Murfin Ralph Murfin Cecil Brown and Victor Greygoose attended a five day heating and air conditioning school in Kitchener. The course is run by the National Warm Air Heating and Air Conditioning Association which conducts research and helps promote proper installation and by law adoption in Canadian cities.
