A recount was approved Wednesday afternoon by Judge Eliot and will be supervised by him. Initial unofficial results showed Harry Harley Liberal ahead with 18556 votes to 18458 for the Conservatives. NDP candidate Carl Rouleau had 8003. A total of 46024 voters cast ballots in Halton with 460 ballots revealed pending final tally.
