Halton Museum opens centennial building with period ball
The Halton Museum complex in Kelso celebrated its new building with a 100 year themed weekend. About 250 guests wore centennial costumes while military and pioneer attire guests mingled to music from a local orchestra. The event marks the end of a local expansion, with three display buildings now in place near Glen Eden ski area. Future plans include a botanical garden and converting the farmhouse to an archive for Halton’s history.
