Stranded Car Hit by Freight Train Near Georgetown Station
A late model car was wrecked when struck by a CN freight train near Georgetown station on a Tuesday morning. The driver, Ralph Eugene Parker of Brampton, left the car on the rails seeking help, and the westbound train pushed the vehicle 240 yards before stopping. Damage to the car was assessed at 1,500 dollars.

Glen Williams Girl Rescued After Kelso Pool Drowning Incident

She nursed at Lions Gate and St Paul’s in Vancouver and camp nurse at Winnebago Parry Sound while pursuing public health studies at Western Ontario and working with VOLN in Peterborough in the summer. Feared Drowning Spurred River Search at Norval
