She taught at Rainy River and Saskatoon public schools and lived in Saskatoon. survived by her husband four children and a sister and brother. Funeral service held at St Johns Cathedral Saskatoon June 21 with interment at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Out of town attendees included relatives from Calgary New Albany and Collingwood.

Struck by Car Roy Manning Fractured Leg
Seven year old Roy Manning son of Mr and Mrs E J Manning of 17 King Street West was struck while crossing Queen Street near the Kentner coal office Thursday noon. He was taken to Guelph General Hospital with a fractured leg after the car driven by Robert J Keeler northbound on Queen could not avoid him. Const Harley Lowe investigated finding no damage on the car.
