Canadian Flying Officer Lands Home After Atlantic Flight
Flying Officer Eric Norrington of the Iroquois Squadron returned to Canada from England after a 14 hour flight. He landed at Halifax on June 14 and reached Dundas Ontario on the Monday of this week. He was welcomed by wife Barbara and Patricia, his parents Mr and Mrs Arthur Norrington, and his brother Private Walter J Norrington overseas with the Argyle and Southern Highlanders in Belghum. Norrington trained as airplane mechanic before earning his pilot wings at Hagersville and his commission.

Home From Overseas Two Georgetown Servicemen Return
ACL Alva Grieve and Pte. Welbam Marchment arrive home on home leave from overseas duty. Grieve enlisted August 1943, served in England France Belgium and Holland, and was hospitalized in England recovering. Marchment, son of the late James Marchment, landed with assault troops at Sicily in 1943 and fought through Italy before Canadians moved to the North Western Front. He enlisted with the H L L of Canada in 1941 and is on a 30 day leave after postings with Brill Hosiery prior to service.
