Leonard Lambert principal of Georgetown High School was reelected to a second term as Lions Club president at a dinner meeting in the McGib House. Hugh Mathews Logan, a long time Glen Williams resident die d Monday May 30 after a long illness at his daughter E Martin’s home. He was 76 or 77. Born in Peel County near Terra Cotta he was the son of Robert Logan and Eliza Rutledge and once ran a stone quarry on Othne. He was predeceased by wife Mabel Brown and leaves four sons Harry Norman Monty Edward and two daughters Gertrude Martin and Viola Inglis. A brother William lives in the Glen and another brother Doc in Moose Jaw. Funeral by Archdeacon W G O Thompson from the Martin home Wednesday with interment at Glen Williams Cemetery. Pallbearers were B Burgess Harvey Garvin Gerald Inglis Harold Inglis and George Inglis.

St Laurent Tour Highlights Rockwood Stop in Ontario Visit
Prime Minister St Laurent halted at Rockwood en route to Arthur and Owen Sound for election meetings.
