McNally Construction began a 15 000 sq ft factory on Armstrong Avenue for T D Williamson Canada Limited with its Tulsa base. The project includes design and engineering work as the Williamson company, supplier of component parts for transmission pipelines, aims to begin production in April. Talks ongoing with two other firms for larger plants.
Halton Region Conservation seeks expropriation of 25 acres of land owned by I ray to advance the Scotch Block reservoir project. Resource manager Dave Murate told the executive last week the plan aims to secure the land while engineers work to design a more economical dam structure, delaying progress at Milton.
Three people were injured in a two car crash Friday near Guelph St. and Mountainview Interchange.
