Milton Newlyweds Take up Residence in Oakville

On January 1957 Georgetown voters elected four incumbents Garfield McGilvray Walter Gray Harry Hale and Alfred Sykes to join two newcomers Fred Harrison and Ern Hyde. The arena remodelling debenture of 111000 won with 725 yes to 376 no. Major local officers were acclaimed including Mayor Jack Armstrong Reeve Stan Allen Deputy Sargent and Hydro Commissioner Graham Farnell.
