Acton Woman Fatally Injured in Car Crash
Mrs Emil Davidson of Acton died after a Saturday collision on Highway No 24 at the Rookwood Ferryns road junction. Col John McIntosh of Galt drove one car injuring himself and wife Col and Mrs McIntosh, and injuring their daughter Nancy. Mr Davidson was taken to Guelph General Hospital with brain injuries. The Davidsons parents Mr and Mrs Herbert Price of Acton were uninjured.

Death of Alexander McCaig in Toronto Clinic
Alexander McCaig of Georgetown died July 28 at Lockwood Clinic Toronto after a long illness. Born 1878 in Pustinch Township, he farmed near Rock Wool for 25 years and worked at Smith and Stone before illness. Survived by wife Maline Marshall and six children, with numerous in laws and grandchildren. Funeral service held at Kumley Funeral Home with interment at Crown Settlers Dustineh.
