Longtime Church of England minister and medical missionary, Rev Dr Arthur Grasett Smith, aged 86, died after a lingering illness at his Dunnville home. Born in St Catharines, he served Ontario churches, worked with Munsee Oneida Ojibway Cree and Six Nations Indians, and built Port Maitland church. He practiced medicine, studied in London and Kingston, and carried out parish duties across Essex Centre to Port Maitland for over six decades.
