State Maintains Old Fort Bat Cave Road In NC

Stills Destroyed and Arrest Made in Local Raid
On March 12 Deputy C. L. Tate and W. H. Bradley seized a steam still on Paris Creek. Five gallons of whiskey and one barrel of beer were destroyed. Frank Padgett of Black Mountain was arrested. A copper and steam still were destroyed on the Catawba river in late February with no arrests.

The Old Fort Chapter No. 175 O. E. S. installed eighteen officers last Monday in the Bradley building Masonic Hall with Dr. D. M. McIntosh as installing officer. Mrs. T. A.
