Funeral Services for Mr Thomas Y Lytle

The funeral for Thomas Young Lytle was held Tuesday at 11 in the Presbyterian church. Rev. C Story of Marion and Rev. M Hansel of Old Fort were in charge with Rev. J L Rayle of Old Fort Methodist Church South assisting. Lytle, a McDowell County pioneer and Confederate War veteran, was laid to rest in Old Fort Cemetery with Masonic Lodge oversight and a Daughters of the Confederacy delegation in attendance.
