Sunday School Camp Trip To Linville Falls
Mr Stacey Noblett and Miss Laura Hicks led a Methodist class camping trip with 14 boys aged 10 to 14. They left Old Fort Monday morning, camped at the Louvre Hotel lawn after Linville Falls, then visited Hawk's Bill mountain and Table Rock before returning via highways 105 and 10.

The Wilson Construction Company finished pouring concrete on No 10 between Old Fort and the overhead bridge west of Old Fort on Monday night. Murray Construction Company will complete pouring east of Old Fort on No 10 Thursday. The road should open to traffic in two weeks.
