Mrs Fisher Hosts Needlecraft Club at Church Street

Mrs Henry C Fisher was hostess on Wednesday to the Needlecraft Club at her home on Church street. Attendees included Mrs J L Nichols, Mrs D A Silvers, Mrs S B Smithey, Mrs I L Caplan, Mrs W W LeFevre, Mrs H C Marley and Mrs G W Ledbetter. Refreshments of salad and sweet course were served.

Marion Music Club Concert At Old Fort School Auditorium

The Marion Music Club presented a Friday evening concert in the Old Fort school auditorium. Sixteen club members performed choruses and solos before a large and appreciative audience.

Bridge Party At Graybeal Home With Prizes Awarded

Mr and Mrs A W Graybeal hosted a Friday bridge gathering using three tables. Miss Maude Crawford took top score while Mr George Sandlin earned the gentleman's prize. Mrs Graybeal was helped by Miss Crawford and Mrs Geo Moore in serving.

The welfare department of the Old Fort Woman's Club continues serving soup to undernourished school children. Over the past week those in charge included Mrs. D. A.
