Lord Chief Justice’s Tipstaff Commit Ted for Extortion Trial
A Tipstaff of the Lord Chief Justice is committed to the King's Bench Prison on extortion charges in office. Mr Francklin receives Crown notice to stand trial next Wednesday at the King's Bench Bar in Westminster on information from the Attorney General in Easter term for printing and publishing the Craftman. Three other printers have notices to prepare for trial at the same time for vending the same material.
