Paris September 2 The revised peace terms for Austria were handed to the Austrian plenipotentiary at St Germain. Paul Durasta general secretary presented the treaty and the allied reply to Austrian counter proposals. He reiterated that Austria precipitated the war with an ultimatum unacceptable to Serbia.
Paris dispatch reports the Austrian peace treaty leaves Austria's fate largely in the hands of the League of Nations. If Vienna cannot expand beyond its 2 million residents and fragmented Austrian territory, the capital may shrink to a minor commercial center, with Fiume internationalized barely offsetting losses.
Formal order issued by Governor Robertson revokes the sixty day reprieve granted to Paul W. Hadley, term murder suspect who reportedly left the country during a temporary penitentiary absence. The reprieve was to expire September 16, but violations including bad checks are alleged.

Two American aviation officers on border patrol near Laredo Texas were fired upon by about twenty five Mexicans as they flew 16 miles up the Rio Grande near Santa Isabel creek. Captain Davia B. McNabb was wounded in the head and Lt Johnson guided the aircraft to land on the American side. An airplane with a surgeon and supplies was rushed to the scene from Fort McIntosh. Police say a vine was found this morning that may lead to arrest of robbers who hit Stiles Park Pharmacy yesterday morning, stealing 150 dollars from the post office sub station. Earl Malcomb confessed to stealing a Ford car left at 1324 North Robinson. fingerprints will be checked against a broker plate glass window. Hass was arrested last night. fingerprints did not match and further investigation continues. The Belle Isle car was one of four stolen there yesterday.

Sheriff F Tobinson announced that three five gallon kegs of liquor, seized last week under mandate by Jerry Smith, were surrendered to the county. No further confiscated goods have been received at the courthouse, police chief at the time noted.
