May reports detail NC-1 hydro airplane progress from Trepassey NF and Newfoundland base toward Halifax with speeds around 70 mph and legs covering 190 to 475 miles. In a municipal case this morning Mere FD Evans and neighbor Mrs Minter settled after an argument over a photograph. Mrs Minter allegedly threatened to press charges for affray. Judge Munden concurred and fined Mrs Minter five dollars. Master, the joint defendant, was later fined thirty five dollars.
Hill pleaded guilty to two counts of robbery in front of Judge George W. Clark. He was sentenced to five years in the state penitentiary for each offense, but Judge Clark suspended both sentences due to his youth.
Sheriff G. E. Johnson filed this morning an appeal to the district court from a decision of the county board of commissioners disallowing part of Johnsons board for housing prisoners. The case concerns funding for jail facilities and staff. The board previously deemed portions of the bill ineligible for payment under existing county policy.
Robert S traxtun from Fort Worth Texas tried to enlist in the Navy but was rejected repeatedly because of defective vision and flat feet. A recruiting officer questioned his hearing but ultimately deemed him unfit at the time, though his eyesight later improved and enlistment may be possible.

Boston May 10 Thirty two percent of the enlisted men of the naval reserve force and the entire enlisted personnel of the regular navy to be assigned to sea duty at once according to orders received at Washington at the navy yard. It is understood the purpose is to obtain men for additions to the transport service.
Belgian officials report Allied leaders exchanging views on Germany possibly refusing to sign the peace and determining steps if such a move occurs. Paris dispatch notes the German cabinet council plans to issue a note delaying to the Allies, with publication expected today. Belgian protestation concerns Germany adopting a red, yellow and black flag nearly identical to Belgium's.
Paris May 10 President Wilson said no German counter proposals would emerge for about a week and no word reached him or the American delegation about a report that German delegates planned to depart from Versailles. Meanwhile jockey Charles Miller of Oklahoma City sought navy enlistment noting he must gain thirteen pounds to reach required weight.
Akron, May 10. The navy balloon race slated for this afternoon was called off at 1:45 due to heavy rains southeast of Akron and winds. The race will start tomorrow at 4 pm weather permitting, announced Lieut P W Hoyt, commander of the naval air station.
George Frederickson announced this morning that the Scotti grand opera expenses were met despite two days of rainy weather before the performance. He noted that hats would have been packed with favorable weather, and the large crowd showed Oklahoma’s appreciation for good music.
Reuben Ramsey testified a girl embraced him and later found his wallet missing. The accused pleaded not guilty before Judge Munden, denied stealing the wallet, and was fined $10 plus costs after arraignment.
Organisation of a permanent committee to carry on in Oklahoma the Build Your Home campaign was formed at the conference of lumbermen and building interests. Ankeny Iowa May 9 Bloodhounds trailed an unidentified man after he shot and killed Mrs FP Copperisy Nd following an assault. The husband a traveling clergyman, was shot three times, Het ton discovered the body.
Police seek Tom Allen described as six feet six inches tall and adorned with various badges and insignia including a no hear no work emblem and a Carnegie hero medal. Local reports urge immediate notification if spotted and warn of his propensity to collect buttons and embellishments for his clothing.
