Lightning Kills Two Farm Boys in This County
Two farm boys were struck dead by lightning while herding cattle for their father on a farm six miles from Oklahoma. John Portrey, 17, and Adolph Portrey, 11, died about 4 o clock yesterday afternoon as an electric storm swept the state. They were found together, a horse killed near them, and their bodies not cremated. Their parents and several siblings survive, with one sister living in Oklahoma.
