Sixty miners employed by the Argyle Coal Co stopped working in the Bennington mine last Monday declaring they wanted equitable distribution of work. The miners said they sat down on the job because they claimed workers in the company's nearby Nu-Mine were getting three days work a week while they were getting only two.

State Crashes Kill Two Men
