Trucker Dies In Rail Crash At Earlsboro Junction
Willie B. Bottoms a 32 year old Seminole truck driver was killed instantly when his truck collided with an eastbound Rock Island Rocket at Earlsboro junction near Shawnee. He was thrown free, the cab was dragged miles along the railroad right of way, and the train stopped a quarter mile away. Unmarried, he worked for David Capp Tank Cleaning Co. of Seminole. Roesch Brothers of Shawnee had charge of the body.
