Fort Smith Arkansas July 11 Em met L Langdon national organizer for Arkansas and Oklahoma of the International Union of Mine Mill and Smelter Workers today received from headquarters telegraphic warning that the smelter centers of these two states are to be invaded by a strong force of I W W with the intention of creating trouble and inciting strikes Fort Smith Arkansas and Kusa Oklahoma by reason of their natural gas supplies are the chief smelter centers in the two states several hundred men being employed at the smelters here
An inequatic sport carnival directed by Newton Richer will be held in Bluel park on July 21 to benefit French children. Tents and events are being arranged by Richer, with proceeds to relief work for Mench children. The event features swimming and diving contests, canoe races, and competitions across senior and junior championship classes among boys girls men and women.
Oklahoma City retains a water prohibition for sprinkling lawns gardens and streets. Mayor Overholver said yesterday's order stays active until the river rises enough to flow over the dam. Waterworks pumps are drawing about 10 million gallons daily from the river though local rainfall this morning was insufficient to raise the river.

Three blasts tore through Chicago south side causing one death and serious injuries. Several buildings were damaged and dozens of families displaced. Police attributed two blasts to the Black Hand and another to labor trouble theories.
