Nora Lucille Quay of 1825 Went Thirty-second street is named the prettiest baby in Oklahoma City. Tucille is five years old and won the head prize at a local baby show held September 20.
President Wilson convened Secretary Lansing, Baker, Daniele and Admiral Benson in Washington to discuss Russia. Reports say allies urged approval of American intervention in Siberia while Foch's word awaited and decision rests with the supreme army and allied command.
A Simla dispatch to Reuters reports the Indian government has signaled a major increase in the Indian army. The announcement, circulated in the provinces, follows discussions at a high level and indicates a substantial expansion of native forces under the government’s direction.
Major John Purroy Mitchel, former mayor of New York City, was killed at Gerstner field Louisiana while flying in a scout aircraft. The single engine plane fell about 600 feet during takeoff rotation and the crash occurred near the airfield. Mitchel had been in the air roughly thirty minutes and was bound for New York with his body expected to arrive tonight.

In the marine list, Sergei Robert H. Donaghue Wynona and Corporal William A Pevelinise Musogee were severely wounded. Corporal Ho Hover Lequire died of wounds.
