Weber County Eighth Grade Commencement Held
The Weber County schools held their eighth grade commencement at the tabernacle with 275 voice chorus directed by Supervisor Powell. Dr Kingsbury and Board member David Schary spoke on knowledge virtue and morality while Huntsville students performed two choruses and certificates were awarded by school principals under the superintendent. A group photograph closed the proceedings on the Third Ward lawn.

Burglary Charge Filed Against George Stratton
Detectives Wardlaw and Burke arrested George Stratton on burglary charges after he allegedly robbed Dr. Ingredretson in the Eccles building, stealing 35 dollars from a desk. He was later observed buying a full clothing outfit with the stolen money and a morphine hyperdermic kit was found on him. Police kept his new clothing bundle while he awaited police court Tuesday morning.
