Four Escape Injury When Car Is Ditched
Merle R. Martin of 800 Walnut St Waterloo drove a 1946 DeSoto four door with Mrs Martin and Mr and Mrs John Foster as passengers. The car ran off a highway seven miles north of Strawberry Point into a ditch Saturday at 8:30 pm. All four were treated at Merus Hospital Oelwein then released with only bruises. Front wheels hood grill windshield and right front door sustained damage.
