Funeral for John Baker Held at Strawberry Point
Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at Gili funeral chapel for John Richard Baker 75 of Strawberry Point. Rev Carrie V Lucas officiated with music by Mrs John Knight and Dr R W Datton. Casket bearers included Harold McKean Elsworth Anderson John Baumgartner Mae Rummel Gerald Stadl and Alfred Baars. He was born Elkader May 11 1870 son of John G and Anna Baker. Survived by three sons Arnold of Strawberry Point Clarence and Vernon of Waterloo seven grandchildren two brothers Joe Baker of Volga City. A son Elmer and a daughter Caroline preceded him in death.
