Through July 30 Iowa troopers arrested 9,396 truck drivers for speeding, with ICC hearings possibly affecting a firm's operating authority. Powell to address Iowa press group clinic

Junior High Launches Two Week Magazine Campaign
Junior High students began a two week magazine campaign on Tuesday September 6 canvassing Oelwein Hazleton and Stanley areas for new subscriptions and renewals. School officials note this is the sole fund raising event with receipts used for school activities. Parkside school set a record with perfect attendance for two consecutive days across all grades including kindergarten. Junior High Parent Advisory Council met after school on Tuesday.
