Pickup hits bicyclist in county accident near Oelwein
Kevin Weatherbee 15 remains hospitalized in serious condition at University Hospital Iowa City after a Monday crash on a county blacktop near the Foursome golf course. He was struck by a northbound pickup driven by Marc Miller 25 of Oelwein as Weatherbee swerved to avoid other traffic. Weatherbee’s bike valued at 160 dollars and the pickup at 200 dollars. Weatherbee is the son of Evert Weatherbee. No charges filed.
