Busy Bees Send Clothing to Children

The Busy Bees club met Thursday with Ms Francis Adams. Sixteen members answered roll call and planned a new way to serve straw berries. 24 CGW Freight Cars Derail In Illinois

Twenty four cars of CGW freight train No 54C left Oelwein at 4 p m and derailed at Lombard Illinois about midnight from a broken axle. No injuries reported. Ten cars carried fruit and vegetables thirteen held flour feed and machinery one car empty. Memorial Service at Woodlawn Cemetery

The Memorial service held at Woodlawn cemetery yesterday was attended by about 150 people. Rev C F Perron gave the sermon titled Living Memorials. Col E E Stoup was chaplain.
