Readlyn resident Mark Williams 18 died when his pickup collided with a car driven by Randall Chevalier 20 near Readlyn on highway 3. Williams and Chevalier were hospitalized. another 22 year old from LaPorte City avoided contact. Funeral planned for Zion Lutheran Church. Memorial fund established.

Stormy weekend causes minor Iowa damage and outages
