Prairie du Chien Wis Feb 24 UP The ice filled Mississippi River search continued for Clarence Sanderson 25 missing from a party of eight youths whose car plunged off a side road near a bridge after a weekend gathering. Seven bodies recovered. four victims were girls. Hats found in wreckage. drivers wheel occupant among the missing. Police believe the auto broke through two inch ice after a turn by mistake. The group had left Waulon Iowa Saturday night and were seen in Prairie taverns before proceeding to the Wisconsin gate crossing. Funeral plans were set for seven Allamakee county youths.
