Firemen Called To McLaury Farm Fire
Firemen battled a hog house blaze six miles west of Oelwein near the municipal airport. The truck returned to Oelwein at 5 28 PM after the fire was out. Brown Dies Famed 3-Fingered Pitcher in 1908 Cubs Peak
Mordecai Brown a physically handicapped pitcher known for his three fingered grip died today in Terre Haute. Four fourteen year old youths were killed when their homemade bobsled struck a car on a snow covered highway near Sulphur Springs Arkansas.
