The robber and murderer Dau’it was executed by guillotine in Hamburg early yesterday morning. The crime for which he died was as bloody as the act that ended his life. He died unrepentant and without a trace of nervousness.

Eight year old Richard Freeman son of W. D. Freeman died after attempting to hold his breath at home in Grasp Rapids. He burst a blood vessel during the attempt and passed away a few minutes later.
In Loxpon the Parnell Commission court floods with excitement over Piggott confession. He admits forging letters purporting to be from Parnell Davitt Egan and O Kelly and forged accommodation bills 1878 to 1881. He also admits perjury. Scotland Yard holds a warrant for his arrest.
The Harrison party arrived in Washington and trunks reached the Arlington Hotel after visitors began. General Harrison will see only close friends until 7 30 pm with a reception to follow. Rochester Feb 27 The trial of Christian Schnecklenberger began charged with the murder of Mary Hale at Myron Davis farm in the town of Riga January 18 The defendant is sixteen and if convicted he would be the first to face death by electricity.
In St Paul Minnesota on February 27 Professor Green of the State Agricultural College reports frosted grain seed may sprout 3 to 9 percent of planted amount. He says the experiments are reliable and farmers may plant frosted grain with confidence that it will grow.
New York report states Stephen B. Elkins and William Windom traveled to Washington. Windom had announced to friends his plan to be the next Secretary of the Treasury, having accepted the post last Saturday, awaiting General Harrison’s approval.
In Fort Marpxox Iowa a mulatto convict named Emerson 50 attacked Deputy Warden Townsend with a knife as he urged him from a cell. Townsend fired his revolver, killing Emerson instantly.
Relda Dees, a resident of Maprson Ixp, was bitten by a suspected mad dog. She was taken to Meton Kentucky where a madstone applied by Mr Lane pressed the wound for three hours to halt the effects.
Memphis reports two personal crisis cases by morphine yesterday. Bricklayer Ton Linnean, after losing a lawsuit, hanged himself. saloon keeper Join A Pardy followed with the same act amid financial and family troubles.
