Odon Indiana based Muleord's Loan Agency transacts general loan and investment business. Offers negotiable paper, sight drafts to UK and Europe, and low-rate loans. Public invites farmers to borrow at 6 to 8 percent with specified large loan amounts available for different terms. Manager L. T Mulford extends the invitation.
Notice to all persons with business with Madison township to meet at Aden Saturdays weekly for township affairs. Hafer trust notices show Madison to Ad residents for Van Heuren township business, residence in Kagheaville Saturdays weekly except second Thursday each month for loans and business.

The week offered commendable public entertainments reflecting well on the town. The Old Settlers Meeting at the Opera House was a success and the Odon Dramatic Company staged Heroic Dutchman of 76 and Out in the Streets with grand costumes and amateur stars. A camp fire at the U B church featured Lent Gov. Chase and Miss Cora Abraham with music. Dr Divens will sell druggists sundries at cost for 39 days. Dr Kings New Discovery for coughs and colds advertised with trial bottles and guarantees.
An Ola Settlers meeting features Dr Divens presenting Hearth Mead for discussion. Residents listen as trade and local agriculture topics are addressed and questions follow the demonstration.
The Daviess County Fair returns to Washington from September 28 through October 3. Highlights include three balloon ascensions, three days of hippodrome races, and fleet flying horses as major attractions. Also features a medical ad urging Dr Divens prescription for a cure for all ages.
