Martin L. Gough died at a Washington home after a two week illness that followed a stroke. Born March 5, 1857 in Van Buren Township, he was 65. He lived in this city before moving to Washington. funeral at First Christian Church with Rev. Buchanan and Rev. Gwin. burial at Walnut Hall Cemetery.
