Worth, the little son of Mr. and Mrs. E A O'Dell of Farmersburg, died suddenly last Sunday around noon. He had been an invalid for most of his life and suffered a paralytic stroke while playing, passing away within about fifty minutes. Survived by his parents and one sister, Tela. Funeral held at his grandfather Alex O'Dell's home with Rev. Shake and Rev. Trowbridge assisting. burial at Walnut Hill.
The elk head presented by Chas Sims arrived at the First National Bank this week and is on display in the bank office. Sims killed the animal in Montana on a winter hunting trip. Church fundraising for the new Christian Church is progressing with Rev. J C Todd and Rev. Trusty reporting over 9000 dollars subscribed and more than 10000 pledged. W C Garten of Annapolis donated a thousand dollars in honor of his mother, Mrs Sallie Garten. Promoters expect to raise the required sum to award contract within days.

Mrs. Jané Bauserman, a longtime resident of this community, died last Thursday at her home in Allen County from a complication of diseases. Born in Missouri on September 11, 1851, she was 65. She married Liz D. Gbeauserina in 1907 and later lived near Shilon church before moving to Allen County. Survived by five children, six grandchildren, two brothers, and many friends, she joined the Shiloh Church of God in 1909. Funeral services were held at the U B church at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. J E McCulley in charge. burial followed at Walnut Hill cemetery.
