Boy Runs Away With Circus Tramp Reports From Indiana
Nay Cushman a 13 year old of Elners Indiana tells police he was taken by a tramp who lured him to leave home with promises of circus life. They rode freight trains through Indiana and Ohio and the boy says the man forced him to work and kept his earnings. He escaped near Springfield Ohio and reached Cincinnati where police notified his father Levi Cushman at Elnora. The boy has had nothing to eat since Thursday noon and was given aid by the Night Chief and police.
