The First Christian Church held morning and evening services with sermons on Continuing in the Apostles Doctrine and Some Things We Do Not Know. Announcements note Bible school and C E meetings, a missionary offering, and plans for summer union services. Delegates attend state conventions in Crawfordville and Indianapolis.

Pleasant Hill U B Church led by Rev J W McCurtry holds Sunday school at 9 30 and preaching at 10 45 The Bethany reopening last Sunday drew crowds from all directions with an ideal day and an excellent dinner in a grove The Mud Pike Sunday school is set for June 20 at 9 30 with a prayer service on Wednesday at 7 30.
Children’s Day was observed at Mud Pike Sunday evening June 13. The house was crowded with many on the outside. Children entertained the large audience with songs recitations and drills. Pleasant Hill 9 30 Class meeting at 10 45 Y P C C at 7 15 next Sunday. Preaching at 7 45. Several from Pleasant Hill will attend the Young People Convention at Washington June 29 30 and July 1. Other points on circuit urged to send delegations.
A West Terre Haute man, Thomas Wakely, credits Tanlac with a dramatic recovery from years of back, stomach, and fatigue ailments that left him unable to work. He reports renewed strength, appetite, and no missed days since starting Tanlac, and urges others to try it. Tanlac is sold in Odon, Washington, Alfordsville, and Elnora by local merchants.
Mabel Burris of Mary Dingle's store says a bottle of Sorbol Quadruple reduced her goitre by 2 inches after 16 years of failed remedies. She endorses the treatment and offers to share her experience personally. The product comes in small bottles, reportedly non staining and non irritating, requiring ten minutes daily.
