A P Chinn Injured in Train Collision Near Hulman Station

A. P. Chinn of this city, now residing in Terre Haute, was struck by a passenger train near Hulman steel station last Tuesday and seriously injured. He died later at the hospital after being taken from the scene. additional relatives and hospital care details follow in the report.

Mrs. Thomas Wirt Dies After Illness at Home

Mrs. Martha Clark Wirt, longtime resident of this city, died yesterday afternoon at two o clock from apoplexy after a year of declining health. She was born Martha Clark in 1844, married Thomas Wirt in 1867, lived in Kansas and Michigan City before returning home. Survived by her husband and a brother William Clark of Arlington Kansas. Funeral from the residence with burial at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
