A reprinted letter from Memphis Penn discusses puzzles and a column on loneliness. It notes lawyers in Washington refuse to take saloon cases without upfront pay. A county attorney allegedly demanded 2100 to prosecute a suit, which the client did not pay, praising lawyers for not taking saloon cases.
