The bride in blue crepe de chine, graduate of Jefferson High, and the groom a Purdue University graduate class of 1920s teaches at Battle Ground High School. They will reside in Battle Ground after December 1.

Former Odon Man Figures in Hold Up
Hobart Ledgerwood formerly of Odon now manager of the Atlantic Pacific grocery in Detroit Michigan was held up by a lone bandit last Tuesday afternoon about five o clock at his store. He and his wife were the only people present when the robber entered asked for breakfast goods and upon Mrs Ledgerwood turning to assist them faced them with a revolver and forced them to lie on the floor behind the counter. The thief rifled the cash register securing 58 dollars and escaping in a waiting car. 135 dollars in another part of the register was left behind. Mrs Ledgerwood gave police a detailed description and believes she can identify the man if captured. The Detroit News carried a full description with photos of Mr and Mrs Ledgerwood.

Farmers Institute Meeting Set in Washingon County
The Da vIess county farmers institute will meet at city hall Washington on Wednesday December 7. Instructors Addison Drake and Mrs John W Spindler will discuss home economies with morning and afternoon sessions chaired by C C Aikman and Robert Alg. The program includes market problems and a general discussion, a session on the value to the community, committee appointments, dinner adjournment, and a home making session led by Mrs J W Spindler. The county meeting will be held in Alfordsville on December 6.
